In this club, we will explore many different careers through hands-on activities, visits from professionals, and field trips to workplaces.</br></br>Meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the Month from 5-7 pm, ages 8-16. Meets November- May. Scholarships available. This club is presented as a partnership between The Bloomsburg Children's Museum, The Foundation of The Columbia Montour Chamber of Commerce, and the Scouts of America.</br></br>Free to attend - all program and scout fees covered - no fundraising needed!</br>

Exploring Careers Club

The Bloomsburg Children’s Museum is celebrating Valentine’s Day with an extra-special Zoo Comes to You event filled with fuzzy friends, sweet moments, and hands-on animal fun.</br></br>This year, families can enjoy snuggling with a Mini Highland Cow thanks to our friends at Blue Sparrow Farms. Sunset Boarding Stables will also be joining us with their lovable goats for a cozy goat-snuggling experience. In addition to these featured guests, visitors can meet and pet a variety of other fuzzy and affectionate animals throughout the day.</br></br>Guests will enjoy an enriching, interactive zoo experience right inside the Museum—perfect for young animal lovers and anyone looking to share a little extra love this Valentine’s season. Animal experts and partner educators will guide families through fun, educational encounters and help create unforgettable photo moments.</br></br>Join the Bloomsburg Children’s Museum and our friends for this special, educational, interactive zoo experience with live animals. ADVANCE TICKETS ARE REQUIRED.</br></br>We are offering limited Zoo Comes to You Swag Bags. These can be purchased along with your tickets.</br></br>Please note that Bloomsburg Children's Museum is only open from 12-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 15th, for the Zoo Comes to You event. Entrance with tickets only. Everybody 12 months and older must have a ticket with their name for entry. We can not guarantee tickets will be available at the door for sale.</br></br>TERMS AND CONDITIONS: If you cancel before Sunday, February 1st, you will receive a 50% refund minus the processing fees. 2026 Zoo Comes to You!

Product Description: Join us for a fun and interactive cooking class designed specifically for kids ages 11+ who want to learn how to make delicious, healthy meals on a budget! In this hands-on class, students will gain essential kitchen skills, learn meal planning tips, and discover cost-saving strategies to make the most of their grocery budget.</br></br>Each session will focus on practical recipes using affordable, everyday ingredients while teaching basic cooking techniques.</br></br>By the end of the class, participants will have the confidence to prepare tasty, budget-friendly meals for themselves. No prior cooking experience is needed—just a willingness to learn and have fun in the kitchen!</br></br>*Please note that this camp will be hosted at The Bloomsburg Children's Museum Discovery Corner. This is at Mulberry Mills Apartments at 160 W. 6th Street.*</br>

Teen Chef: Budget Cooking Series

Product Description: School’s out, and creativity is in! Spend the day at the Bloomsburg Children’s Museum exploring the exciting connection between science and art. Campers will experiment, build, create, and discover through hands-on activities that blend creativity with curiosity.</br></br>From 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, campers will join Miss Sara for an Art Class focused on creative expression, hands-on projects, and exploring different materials and techniques.</br></br>From 1:00–4:00 PM, campers will take part in Maker Camp with Miss Julie, diving into science-based activities, building challenges, and hands-on experiments that encourage problem-solving and innovation.</br></br>Families may register for either session individually or both sessions for a full day of art and maker fun. This camp is the perfect way to keep kids engaged, learning, and creating on a school day off!</br>

Product Description: Bloomsburg jewelry artist, Luann Gilliland of LZG Beaded Designs traveled to the Czech Republic last year to tour bead and button factories. She brought back over 77lbs of gorgeous Czech glass beads. In this class, you will have access to several trays of Czech glass beads in order to make a bracelet in the colors of your choice. Bracelets are finished with a pewter toggle clasp in your exact length.
