Join Julia from Knack for a 10-week, hands-on arts and crafts adventure! Each week, kids will create a holiday or seasonal-themed project designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and encourage self-expression. From Halloween-inspired artwork to Thanksgiving crafts of gratitude, and from festive Christmas creations to frosty winter fun, each session offers a unique take-home project. Families may register for the full 10-week series or select individual classes that best fit their child’s interests. Ages 6+
October 20 – Scrape-Painted Ghost Portrait
Kids will explore texture and color while creating a one-of-a-kind ghost portrait using the scrape-painting technique. A perfect spooky decoration to get into the Halloween spirit!
October 27 – Crystal Ball Craft
What does the future hold? Kids will design their own magical crystal ball using mixed media, adding sparkle and mystery just in time for Halloween week.
November 10 – Gratitude Jar
Students will decorate a keepsake gratitude jar and fill it with notes of thankfulness. A meaningful craft to inspire appreciation all year long.
November 17 – Gratitude Catcher
Combining creativity with mindfulness, kids will design a colorful gratitude catcher (similar to a dream catcher) to remind them of all the things they’re thankful for.
November 24 – Turkey Pot Craft
Get festive with a fun turkey-themed clay pot! Kids will create a cheerful holiday decoration perfect for the Thanksgiving table.
December 1 – Animal Ornaments
Kids will design and decorate their own whimsical animal ornaments to hang on the Christmas tree or gift to a loved one.
December 8 – Sock Snowman Craft
Using simple materials, students will transform socks into adorable snowman friends—soft, squishy, and full of charm.
December 15 – Handmade Christmas Cards
From glitter to stamps, kids will create festive, personalized holiday cards to share with friends and family.
December 22 – Winter Slime
Celebrate the season with a frosty twist! Kids will mix up sparkly winter slime to take home—a fun, sensory craft with a chilly holiday vibe.
December 29 – NYE Disco Ball
Kids will have a ball while sending off the year with a celebratory craft.
